Thought process

I honestly can feel my mental health declining as I watch these cams. Not that these cams have any significant impact, but I noticed my tendency of wanting to watch it for as long as possible, to capture and record evidence that someone lives here. I noticed myself "selecting" cam that would fit my standard of being interesting or pretty to look at

Screens as data viz?

I found myself wanting to capture the footage for as long as possible, get in as many human shots as possible, with all fragments and activities one can do in the house as possible. I wanted to convey how "thrilling" this all is when at the end of the day, it's an illegal activity.

Indication of Live?

Blinking red dot + timestamp to indicate nowness/liveness

I do wonder if I need to indicate if it's live, and whether watching live or pre-recorded footage makes a difference, considering both were (kind of legally?) obtained from illegal sources. I think seeing "live" stream gives viewers a certain rush of adrenaline & validation that what they are seeing is "real" and very much "happening". I wonder what is the impact of seeing it "live" into someone's "home", which is a tense and exciting tension?
